Not every sermon or paper I write in seminary is worth sharing. But sometimes bits and pieces of them are. At Metapolis you get only the stuff I've found most interesting during my research, drip-fed in 5-minute chunks. Most posts will be part of a larger series covering a common theme or passage.
I'm a PhD-trained philosopher. So expect some of that sometimes, too.

The city of God, the Metapolis offered to man at the beginning in the prophetic sanctions of the creational covenant, is again offered as the final goal of the process of cosmic redemption. It is promised as the crowning achievement of Christ, the redeemer-king. Towards it the people of the covenant wend their historical way as pilgrims in a wilderness. – Meredith G. Kline
